Peeling Web Page Ads

During the second part of 2007 and into 2008, we are seeing an increasing number of websites that are featuring peeling web page technology, commonly referred to as peel away ads.

The reason why is understandable. Peel Away Ads are easy to implement and bring results. They don’t aggravate your visitors because, unlike popups and fly-in ads, they aren’t “in your face” and do not hinder visitors from reading the content of your page. However, the little animated curls that they display don’t go unobserved, and often elicit the desired response of inducing your visitors to hover their mouse over your Corner Peel Away Ad, hence revealing the offer or ad that you want them to look at.
