All autoresponders currently available in the market can be classified into one of the following groups: Remotely-hosted, Locally-hosted and Desktop-hosted autoresponders.

This articles discusses the advantages and disadvantages of each of these types of email autoresponder software.

Remotely-hosted autoresponder:

A remotely hosted autoresponder is hosted on another website, usually via a web-based subscription service.

The advantage of remotely-hosted autoresponder is the ease of setting up and reliability.

There are many good autoresponder services to choose from. Typically you have to pay a monthly subscription fee of about $20 per month.

The disadvantage is the inflexibility with no room for customization as the program is not hosted on your server and you do not have access to them.

Locally-hosted autoresponder:

Locally-hosted mailing list manager is hosted on your own web server, usually scripts or programs that you install on your web server.

These usually involve the purchase or leasing of a program or script written in Perl, PHP or other scripts with a database backend e.g., mySQL, SQL2000 or Postgres. After installation, you use a web browser to access these programs, for example to set up or to run the program and to backup the subscribers list.

[spin]The use of these programs usually does not[|Most often these programs do notspin] require much knowledge of the scripting language it is written in.

You buy the program once and you can use it for life. There is no monthly subscription fee.

You can install this type of scripts yourself if you have the knowledge or you can request for help from the vendor to install it for you.

Some of these autoresponders can be quite flexible and have very powerful features. This is suitable if you have your own web server.

Desktop-hosted autoresponder:

A desktop-hosted autoresponder is run directly on your own PC.

To run this type of autoresponder, you need a dedicated computer with 24 hour access to the internet via a high speed connection.

As this is a software, it needs to be installed on your computer.

Desktop-hosted autoresponders are more suitable for non-professional marketers with a small subscriber list and not recommended for professional marketers who have a large subscriber list.

Conclusion:

Professional internet marketer with a large subscriber list and active newsletter internet marketing strategy should consider using a locally-hosted autoresponder and not a desktop autoresponder for the following reasons:

a. Technical reliability of a web server hosted autoresponder.
b. Ease of expansion and customization to meet growing demand by adding more autoresponder.
c. Can handle very large subscribe list.
d. No need for a dedicated computer with 24 hours internet access.

There is an option of a locally-hosted autoresponder to handle tasks such as subscription and following-up, and a desktop autoresponder to handle tasks such as sending email-on-demand or to respond to specific enquiries.

cultural values
Discussing about cultural values will probably probably create various definitions but one thing is certain- that most of us are convinced that these play very essential roles in all of our lives. In a way it bridges all individuals, because at the end of the day, we all have to believe in something, or what’s the point? I believe James Truslow Adams capsulized it up quite nicely when he said, “Be not afraid of life; believe that life is worth living and your belief will help create the fact,” That quote, in a nutshell, shows all of us the power of belief and values.

One important topic that values really have a great impact for us especially in workforce environment is about personal time management. It is time management value that gives us opportunity for productivity and efficiency in what we do.

importance of time management
Time management pertains to the ways to make the maximum out of the twenty four hours that everybody has. Personal time management needs you to ask the right questions to yourself at the right time. Time management not only includes managing your appointment diary and daily schedules, it means managing yourself and dealing with life constraints. As you set out to do some task, think whether it is worth your time or not. Try and put it to analysis whether a particular way of doing it is the best or not. These questions at the very outset are helpful to determine whether it is the best way to do the job easily and quickly, or not.

trait for perseverance
Another trait that really plays important role for our life can be pointed to how to develop perseverance. Your success in life is also dependent on how intensified your perseverance is; this should be included as part of your values.

For anybody who has worked hard and stayed on course to try to achieve a goal, they know what the meaning of perseverance is. To overcome obstacles and to follow thru until you reach a self-appointed goal can be one of the difficult tasks in life. In order to be successful you will have to have perseverance and real focus. Not only that, in order to attain a goal you will have to work hard and be very organized.

Article marketing is the first most powerful marketing strategy online; article marketing will easily define the success or failure of any online business or any other web presence.

The power of article marketing is unlimited and it’s time line is infinite. If you manage to make this power work for the benefit of your online business, this will greatly boost it. No matter what are your goals and reasons of your online presence, article marketing is the only way you can introduce your self properly, it has the power to show your readers your knowledge and expertise.

A well-written article can give you the appearance of being an expert in a field; no matter how much do you know about the subject. The most important tip is to properly create and market your articles.

Chances are that you have experienced how effective and engaging articles can be, how a well written article with as little as one small piece of information can build an interest in you to know more about the author and read more of his contents; as well as some examples of truly horrible writing which will make you stop at the first paragraph. Your taste of telling the difference is the first step toward developing your own successful writing style.

Identifying the purposes of your article marketing is essential, why are you writing? Why do you want others to read your contents? Answering these questions will make it easier for you to write and market your articles effectively.

The typical aims of the article marketing are these ones:

1. The obvious use of article marketing online is to draw traffic to your website. Using articles for that purpose is much better than many other marketing methods, simply due to the ease of creation, the fast on marketing and the low if any budget needed. This is indeed a good example of low cost internet marketing. Particularly good articles can go “viral” and have a dramatic effect on your website’s traffic. Articles can easily be posted on highly traffic article directories and social websites as Digg, FaceBook, or Del.icio.us.

Do not discount the benefit of cross-promoting with social sites like these. There are millions of consumers on each, sharing information and helping to increase the reputation of websites around the world. Harnessing the power of article writing can help you harness social websites and effortlessly (and cheaply!) increase your recognition.

2. Articles can be written for simple informational benefit. You have something to tell, good advice, tip or trick; you share it with others via article marketing. Here you are being helpful, readers will love you for that, trust you and be thankful. It is the same as forum marketing.

3. In addition, article marketing can be used for SEO purposes. Each and every webmaster knows that web-presence is depend on appearing in the search engines first result pages, and for that you need search engines optimization both on-page and off-page. Submitting articles in your website means content and content still the king of on-page SEO, as for off-page SEO, it is the amount and quality of inbound links you can build with article marketing for your website.

That doesn’t mean that the quality of the content has to suffer for the sake of keyword insertion and links.

4. Some webmasters are using article marketing for directly making some money from the internet, using ads when posting to social sites, and share of Ad-Sense from article directories.

Article marketing triggered the creation of a wide market of tools, information products and software. The need to successfully obtain the benefits of article marketing makes some webmaster (mostly beginners) easily losing money buying useless products. Do it your self manually will give you better idea of its power and identifying your needs. Do it right and you will increase your traffic, link popularity and as a result you will increase your affiliate earnings. It hurt me knowing that webmasters spend countless hours searching for software to automatic the marketing process when they can spend less doing it manually.
